1. Let the wax pool
Every time you light your candle, let the wax melt all the way to the edges of the jar—usually about an hour. This helps prevent tunneling—aka when your candle looks like a sunken cave instead of a smooth, dreamy wax pool.

2. Don’t overburn
We know it’s tempting to keep your fave candle burning all day, but burning it for too long actually shortens its life! The sweet spot is 1–4 hours. After that, the wax can overheat and the scent won’t hit the same.

3. Use a snuffer (yes, really!)
Blowing out your candle might seem harmless, but it sends soot and wax particles into the air—not cute. A candle snuffer puts the flame out gently with no smoke and no mess. (There’s one in our accessory kit—you're welcome.)

4. Trim your wick, bestie
This step is so underrated. A too-long wick can cause your candle to burn too fast and get sooty. Too short? It might not stay lit.
Trim your wick to about ¼ inch before every burn. Your candle will thank you.
